AlisonW - The .com test site

This site is currently being redeveloped. Although it will work fine it will continue to look terrible for a while yet. Sorry!

As it happens, I stayed up late into the night on Thursday to watch the Veep candidate's debate. Partially because 'The Debate' was one of my favourite episodes of The West Wing and I hadn't actually seen one of these head-to-head debates 'in the real' before (I missed the first Presidential one as it started at 2am and I was just too tired that night!) and also because I'd heard so much about (Joe) Biden and (Sarah) Palin through US friends.

And I see what they mean about whether Palin running for Miss America or Vice President?

Well I won't say it was the most exciting 90 minutes of my life (nowhere near!) and it was abundantly clear that both candidates had been very well drilled in what they were to say - and to not even murmur - in praise of their leadership contender. But is was interesting nonetheless.
