Late this evening† I received an email from Twitter confirming that I had been un-suspended. Somewhat worrying though was that the first paragraph of that email read "Your account is now unsuspended, and the violating Tweets have been removed from your profile. It is never okay to post an individual's private information on Twitter." when, as I had pointed out to them very clearly, this was not "an individual's private information" but a business address from a public record available and copied from a government website.
Anyway, I'm back there and – so far as I can tell – everything is back as it was, though there was a hiccough initially where the 'following' count was zero. I've already updated my archive file with the latest tweets for safety, though might rethink just how much I use Twitter in the future, mainly because its absence made me post here and on other blogs more often!
† Yes, a bit over five whole days!
